![]() ![]() Weiss' early development was the one people had a problem with, and Blake was the one people were applauding. I was there for the Red Trailer Weiss was the girl people hated and Blake was the fan favorite next to Yang. They hated Adam (and still do) for how he treated her. ![]() She was beloved for being the most developed character at the time. She was a huge attraction of the cosplay community. I don't see much fanfare from Ruby herself either, but Blake used to command the audience like Yang and Weiss or Raven and Qrow. Because you know I'm looking for reasons. Just the things I need to procrastinate as my deadline looms. And because Nora is so darn nice, she sent me two books. I was going to forfeit and let a real "reader" win, but then I thought, Hey! I'm real reader. Me! Whee! I left a comment on a post by Nora McFarland on Dru Ann's blog a couple of weeks ago, and it turns out that I was randomly chosen to win a book from Nora. Which begs the question, Can't they just get along? Lots of fighting going on outside the window. We have 3-4 regulars, and they're always trying to run each other off. As fun as they are to watch, they're also quite feisty. We love watching them flit around, drinking out of the feeders, drinking out of the flowers (they love the hostas this year). Make a wish!Īs a writer, I get my inspiration everywhere. *Les Mis - Baby Girl's favorite show! I've never seen it done onstage, but she has (local theater), and she's so excited to see Broadway's version.Īll in all, a fun year ahead. (Ditto my worry about the snapping fingers.) * The Addams Family - grew up watching the show and am betting this will be really fun. Am slightly nervous about the snapping scenes (I hate the sound of snapping fingers! Might have to cover my ears.) * West Side Story - saw the movie but haven't seen it onstage. * Billy Elliot - never seen it but have heard raves (Soundtrack is currently playing in my car, and I have a little witch hat souvenir as a key chain.) * Beauty and the Beast - haven't seen it onstage and cannot wait! They're nice and bright and colorful, which just makes me even more excited to see each of the shows this coming season. Each ticket has the show's image on it (unlike those Ticketmaster tix). Ooh, ooh! Over the weekend, the mailman delivered the Broadway Series season tickets I ordered for me and Baby Girl last winter! ![]()
